Hello Funky Cow Foodies! We’re hoping that all things are merry and bright no matter what you’re celebrating this holiday season. As you know, we value family, friendship and great food just as much as you do. We thought we’d share what makes this time of year so wonderful for us and then we’d love to know what’s special for you.
Favorite Christmas Carol: O Holy Night
As the stars brightly shine this holiday season, we truly hope that your soul feels its worth and that you step forward into the New Year with hope in your heart.
Christmas Tree: Real and Artificial
My friends. You don’t have to choose. Deck your halls with both!
Earliest Christmas Memory:
Getting ready to go Christmas Caroling (singing in Spanish!) to my uncle’s house with a group of 15 people to sing at 12:30 am. It wasn’t exactly a silent night; more like joy to the world for every place we went too.
Favorite Tradition:
For the past 5 years, I have spent Christmas at my aunt’s house in Puerto Rico. We celebrate Christmas Eve with my mom and then wake up to the sound of the waves on my beautiful island where I have spent the holiday since I was 6 with my grandmother Lola.
Notice, I said the last 5 years. A Christmas tradition can start at any time. You get to choose, so if you need to, start your own this year. And while we’re at it, Christmas is more than just a day, so instead of trying to go 27 places in two days, don’t be afraid to create your own celebrations throughout the season. In fact, the Funky Cow Cafe will be closed so that our valued employees can have some time to spend the holidays with their families.
Funky Cow Holiday Hours:
